NACCHO is providing free training opportunities to help you learn more about amateur radio. NACCHO will be sending out resources to provide you with an introduction to amateur radio and to assist you with studying for the amateur radio examination. 


Become a Licensed Amateur Radio Operator at the 2015 Preparedness Summit

Volunteer Examiners will be on-site at the 2015 Preparedness Summit to administer the Federal Communication Commission’s amateur radio examination. This examination is required to become a ham radio operator. The examination costs $15 dollars and takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
